What is PATRONS?
Parents of Academically Talented is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
PATRONS at Rancho Buena Vista was formed by dedicated parents who believe that every student should have the opportunity to pursue higher academic opportunities such as International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs despite their financial situations.
PATRONS group is the heart and soul of the honors program. They provide financial and emotional support for our honors students, their parents and teachers.
What do PATRONS do?
Give scholarships for Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) Exams.
Award scholarships for college-bound RBV seniors.
Coordinate proctors for all the AP/IB exam.
Sell tickets and concessions at Ranch Revue, the RBV student and teacher talent showcase.
Provide baked goods for the Sophomore Retreat.
Help IB coordinator wherever and whenever she needs us.
Celebrate the milestones of our Honors students by organizing:
Luncheon for teachers and administrators who perform in Ranch Revue talent show fundraiser
IB Banquet
How do PATRONS do it?
PATRONS' fundraising efforts are crucial to the success of honors program. We raise money from donations and Ranch Revue. Every penny we raise goes in support of our honors program and students.
