What is PATRONS?

  • PATRONS of Students Striving for Academic Success is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. 
  • PATRONS at Rancho Buena Vista was formed by dedicated parents who believe that every student should have the opportunity to higher academic opportunities such as International Baccalaureate (IB) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs despite their financial situations. 
  • PATRONS group is the heart and soul of the Honors program. They provide financial and emotional support for our Honors students, their parents and teachers. 

What do PATRONS do?

  • Give scholarships for Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) Exams. 
  • Award scholarships for college-bound RBV seniors. 
  • Coordinate proctors for all the AP/IB exam. 
  • Volunteer at the Walk-A-Thon snack bar. 
  • Provide pizza lunch for the Sophomore retreat. 
  • Help IB coordinator wherever and whenever she needs us. 
  • Celebrates the milestones of our Honors students by organizing: 
    • AP Scholars Cake Reception 
    • Senior Awards Reception 
    • Extended Essay Celebration 
    • Luncheon for teachers and administrators who perform in Ranch Revue talent show fundraiser 
    • IB Banquet 

How do PATRONS do it?

PATRONS' fundraising efforts are crucial to the success of Honors program. We raise money from memberships, donations, Ranch Revue talent show, Holiday Silent Auction, ongoing aluminum cans recycling and few others. Every penny we raise goes in support of our Honors program and students.
